How do I know if I use any applications that requires the WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)?  It appears to use a lot of CPU capacity and I am not sure I am getting any benefit (except a slower computer).

I think I want to either remove or disable it since I know of no use to me.

I use the computer to manipulate images but I do it with Photoshop.  All other programs just run on their own.  I don't tinker with them.

Any light you can shed on this would help.  Thanks.  Bill
